🎭🇫🇷 Bastille Day Play – Friday 4th July (Last Day of Term)🥖

Since Bastille Day falls during the school holidays, we’ll be celebrating early on Friday 4th July from 1–2pm with a Bastille Day Play performed by 45 enthusiastic Year 5 & 6 students. They’ve been rehearsing diligently every Tuesday and Friday lunchtime, and we’re so excited to share their student-directed mini-musicals.  The audience will join in for 3 of the songs (including teachers!!!). The songs are:

  • À la volonté du peuple -Do you hear the people sing? from Les Mis
  • Viva La Vida (chorus en français) - Coldplay
  • Les Champs-Élysées - classic, fun song

To help make the performance even more magnifique, French teachers from Year 2–6, I’d greatly appreciate your help! The Year 5/6 students have picked up the lyrics and timing quite quickly, but our younger students (Year 2–4) need a little more support. If you could help reinforce the lyrics and rhythm of these songs in your classes over the coming weeks, it would make a big difference.  Merci!!! 🇫🇷🎶
