Year 12 VCE VM Numeracy - A Spoonful of Gratitude

In Term 2, the Year 12 VCE VM students expressed gratitude by baking a cake for three teachers/education support staff (ES)/principal team members who have made a positive impact in their school life. This SAC encouraged the students to reflect on the teachers/ES/principal team who have supported them, inspired them, or helped them grow academically, emotionally, or socially. Gratitude is an important value to carry with everyone of us throughout life, and this SAC helps foster that sense of appreciation.

This SAC is not just about baking a cake and learning the numeracy in this context; it’s about developing and expressing gratitude—a value that can last a lifetime. Showing appreciation for others, especially for teachers and staff who have helped shape their journey in school, can inspire more kindness and positivity in our school community. There were many positive feedback and smiles from the teachers/ES/principal team!
