Lunar New Year Celebration

Our Lunar New Year celebration yesterday was a wonderful occasion for our school community. It was great to see so many families join us and share in the performances and cultural traditions. Thank you to our dedicated Languages team for organising such a thoughtful and vibrant event. As I shared yesterday, may the Year of the Horse bring you energy to pursue your goals, persevere through challenges and good health for the year ahead.

P&C Meeting

Our first P&C meeting for the year will be held next Tuesday - 24 February. Please see the P&C section of this newsletter for details and information on how to register. All parents and carers are warmly welcome to attend. We are fortunate to have an active and supportive P&C, and it is a valuable way for families to be involved in the life of the school. I encourage you to consider coming along and being part of the conversation.

Emergency Vehicles on Pacific Highway

A reminder to all members of our community to take extreme care when crossing roads near the school, particularly along Pacific Highway. If you hear a siren or see an approaching emergency vehicle, please do not begin crossing, even if the pedestrian light is green. Emergency vehicles must always be given right of way. Stopping and waiting in these moments is essential to ensure everyone’s safety.

Facebook

We have had a lot happening this week and we encourage families to follow our school Facebook page for timely updates, reminders and snapshots of learning across the school. It’s a great way to see photos from events, classroom activities and celebrations of student success as they happen.
