Student Achievement

In 2025, Year 10 Geography Camp students visited Kangaroo Island and learnt about proposed tourism developments on conservation land. Inspired by the camp, Annabelle P, Rachel M and Phoebe E prepared presentations about environmental or planning issues facing Kangaroo Island. 

These presentations were entered into the Governor's Civics Awards for Schools competition, an initiative to develop students' awareness and skills as active and informed citizens in a multicultural and democratic society. The initiative involves an annual competition conducted by the Department for Education and guided by the Governor's Civics Awards for Schools Reference Group. 

Congratulations to Annabelle, Phoebe and Rachel for being judged award winners in the Year 10 category for 2025.
