Open Night 2026 

Open Night took place on Monday 2 March, and what a fantastic evening it was! 

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all staff and students who helped showcase our wonderful school. The feedback we've received has been overwhelmingly positive, with many community members commenting on how welcoming and warm everyone was.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making the evening such a great 

success!

Sydney East Zone Swimming Carnival 

Tom W. and Levi M. smashed it out of the water at Eastern Suburbs Swimming Carnival. The boys achieved first, second or third place in every race they entered. Both students have progressed to the Sydney East Regional Swimming Championships on Monday at SOPAC. We are so proud! 

Open Boys Basketball Knockout 

On March 6, J J Cahill Memorial High School's Open Boys Basketball team faced off against Matraville Sports High. Although the final score was 26-66, it does not reflect the incredible effort, commitment, and dedication demonstrated by our students. They played with great heart, and we are extremely proud of their performance.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Nicholas E, who has been a valued member of our basketball program. In his final year, he continued to show outstanding dedication and commitment to both the sport and our school.
