Our Oak students have started their 10-week Horse Riding experience with the Riding for the Disabled Program at Ryde RDA. RDA is a voluntary, non-profit organisation that provides opportunities for anyone with a disability to enjoy safe, healthy, therapeutic, horse-related activities in Australia.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the generous donation from Chatswood RSL, along with a grant secured by Stryder Community Transport from the City of Ryde. We deeply appreciate the support of our valued community partners, which allows us to enhance our students' learning opportunities without financial burden.
Here are some photos from Week 1.
The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) gives Australian schools, parents, guardians and carers, education authorities and the community information about the number of students with disability in schools and the adjustments they receive. TheAustralian Education Regulation 2013requires all schools to report the data collected for the NCCD to the Australian Government on an annual basis.
Please take your time to read the fact sheet below regarding the NCCD.

On Thursday 31 July, our kindergarten students will have been at school for 100 days of learning. To celebrate this achievement, our students and Kindergarten teachers will dress up for the celebration and engage in fun activities throughout the day to commemorate this achievement and look back toward how much they have changed since the beginning of Kindergarten.
