TERM 3

We have had a couple of busy weeks with the House Athletics Day last week, 100 Days Brighter and our Encounter program. Congratulations to Panfield House for winning the House Athletics , three years in a row. Thank you also to the many parent and community volunteers who all jumped in and lent a hand to making this such as successful day.  We could not run events like this without a huge amount to support.

Encounter Program

Our 2025 program is in full swing with one more week to go.  Check out the designated page and photographs in this week's newsletter to see all the action.

Principals' Day

What a wonderful surprise, last Friday, in celebration of World Principal's Day.  Thank you staff for a wonderful morning tea and the beautiful plants.

We have great NAPLAN Results

We are very pleased to share with our community the great NAPLAN results for 2025. Each year, the Australian government assesses all Grade 3, 5, 7 and 9 students in literacy and numeracy.  See how Mullum Primary compared to similar schools (those with similar family occupations) and schools across the state of Victoria. The figures in the table below are for the percentage of students achieving at, or above, expected standard for their age group.  In all assessments, with the exception of Grade 3 Grammar (which we are working on), Mullum Primary students outperformed similar and state school students. We are very, very proud of their achievements and it is a testament to the hard work at home and in the classroom.  Well done everyone.
