REGIONAL CROSS COUNTRY FINALS

On Thursday 19th of June, twelve students from Wembley Primary School competed in the Western Metropolitan Regional Cross Country Finals. This event took place at the Keilor Park Sports Precinct, Stadium Drive, Keilor

All students who competed on the day demonstrated outstanding resilience and determination, facing very strong competition from the many other schools involved.

Remarkably, three of the twelve students who competed have qualified for the State Cross Country—Milana Farfaglia, Annabelle Dwyer, and Jade Feely. What an incredible achievement!

Week 7 - 8: Resilience - Adapting

Prep

Lenny S For adapting during morning drop-offs by sharing stories with Ms Clemmens. That's a great way to adjust to a new routine!

Year 1

Billy BFor adapting when you couldn't sit with your friend on the carpet and, so you sat with some other classmates instead. Great job being flexible!

Year 2

Lottie WFor adapting and letting someone else turn the classroom lights on when they wanted a turn. That shows great consideration and flexibility.

Year 3

Lachlan SFor showing fantastic adapting skills when your work was really hard but you pushed through. Keep up that brilliant effort!

Year 4

Harper D For adapting so well to your split class with Ms P while your teacher was on Year 3 camp. What a star for handling that change smoothly!

Year 5

Sadie RFor adapting when your teacher was away and you didn't want to be split. It's awesome that you adjusted and made the best of the situation.
