Junior PE

This term in Junior PE, we have been focusing on fair play. Fair play is essential in any sport or game to make sure everyone is able to feel safe, practice their skills, and most importantly, have fun! 

We have played a series of mini games throughout the term to practice each of the four elements of fair play and have reflected on how it makes us feel when people don't follow the steps versus when they do. 

The 4 steps of fair play are:

1. Follow the rules

2. Respect the decision 

3. Treat everyone equally

4. Be a good sport, win or lose 

This week, we introduced two new games, 'Shark Island' and 'Sliding Cars' and continued to practice fair play.  The students had an absolute ball using some different equipment from the shed, working as a team, and making sure, at the end of the day, they remembered to have fun regardless of the outcome.
