Macquarie University is offering a fantastic opportunity for students in Years 5 to 7 and their parents or carers to participate in Bonding Through Coding—a hands-on workshop where families team up to learn how to create websites and interactive games.
Held at the School of Computing, this engaging event promotes creativity, problem-solving, and quality time together in a fun, supportive environment.
Parents are encouraged to join their children for the first hour (or stay for the whole session), and the workshops are led by experienced educators with a low tutor-to-student ratio for personalised support. The program also aims to boost female participation in STEM.
