Year 9 Report
Keele Hillas
As we continue through Term 2, there’s been a great buzz of activity in the Year 9 space, and we want to keep you updated on some exciting developments and reminders.
Uniform Expectations & New Audits
A big focus this term has been on ensuring all students are meeting the school’s uniform expectations. To support this, we have introduced classroom uniform trackers and regular uniform audits. These help us monitor and encourage consistent presentation across the year level. We’re also excited to announce a Year 9 competition – the class with the best overall uniform record will win a pizza lunch at the end of the term! Let’s keep raising the bar and showing pride in our school.
Year 9 Travel Training at ACU
Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to be partnering with Australian Catholic University (ACU) to offer travel training and careers exploration opportunities. This will be a fantastic chance for students to build confidence navigating public transport and gain insight into future education and employment pathways.
Thank You for a Great PTSC Night
A huge thank you to all families who took part in our Parent, Teacher, Student Conferences. It was wonderful to connect, share progress and set goals. The night ran smoothly, and we appreciate your time and support in your child’s learning journey.
Health Learning Task – Box Donations Needed
In Year 9 Health, students are working on a special project creating mental health packs. We are currently looking for box donations (shoe boxes or similar) to help store and present these packs. If you have any spare boxes at home, please send them into school with your child.
Thank you for your ongoing support – we’re looking forward to a strong finish to the term!
