As we make our way through week 9, it’s been a busy and productive time in the Senior School. Last week, our Year 10 and 11 students completed their Semester 1 exams, and we are incredibly proud of the way they prepared, conducted themselves, and challenged their thinking throughout the process. These exams are not just assessments — they are valuable opportunities for students to showcase their learning, deepen their understanding, and build important skills for the future.
On Tuesday, our Year 12 students completed the General Achievement Test (GAT), marking an important milestone in their academic journey. Congratulations to all students for their dedication, organisation, and willingness to challenge themselves in the first official Year 12 exam of 2025. Your preparation and focus are commendable, and this experience will serve you well as you continue through the year. Well done!
For our Year 12's, a reminder that exams will take place in the first week of the school holidays. We encourage all students to plan ahead, use their study time effectively, and seek support if needed. These assessments play an important role in their final year and can be a rewarding way to demonstrate all they’ve achieved so far.
We also want to acknowledge that exams can be challenging, especially for students who may not feel confident in test situations. It’s important to remember that success isn’t just about results — preparing thoroughly and giving your best effort is just as valuable. Every step you take builds your resilience and supports your growth as a learner. Well done to all students for their ongoing commitment and effort.
As we wrap up Term 2 over the next few weeks, we encourage all students to stay focused and finish the term strong. We wish everyone a safe, restful, and well-deserved holiday break when it arrives.
