Wellbeing & Inclusion Report

Heather McClure

As we near the end of Term 2, we’re pleased to share a few important updates with our school community.

Attitudes to School Survey – Thank You!

We’re proud to report the successful completion of the annual Attitudes to School Survey across the entire school. Thank you to all students who participated thoughtfully and honestly. The insights gained from this survey are invaluable in shaping our ongoing work to improve student engagement, wellbeing, and learning outcomes.

Upcoming Student-Free Day – Staff Professional Learning

A reminder that Tuesday 24th June is a student-free day. On this day, our staff will be participating in a full day of professional learning with respected educator and presenter Glen Pearsall. This is a valuable opportunity for staff to further refine high-impact teaching and engagement strategies that directly benefit student learning and classroom engagement.

Uniform Audit

Across the College we have noted a decline in the number of students wearing full school uniform each day. We have seen an increase in students wearing hooded jumpers and tracksuit pants each day.  In Week 10, we will be conducting a uniform audit across all year levels. We take pride in our school uniform as it promotes a strong sense of identity, equality, and belonging. We ask that families support us by ensuring students are in full school uniform each day. If there are any issues with uniform access, please contact the relevant year level leader or myself, so we can assist. All of our classrooms are heated and our uniform provides numerous options for students to layer clothing, including jumpers, jackets and raincoat.

As always, thank you for your ongoing support of our students and school community.
