Hands on Learning Report

By Lily Wills - Year 9 HoL Student

"At the moment in Hands on Learning, we are making toolboxes out of recycled pallets. We have had a few new students come for a try out and I think they are a really great fit. We have a new space located in the Rec Centre in an old squash court. It’s way better because it’s warm and there is enough space to get up and move and to socialise. We have enough space to create new things as a hands on team. I love how everyone helps and cleans and make milos. Everyone contributes to the projects. Everyone should be proud of themselves. I love Hands on Learning because it’s a great experience and it’s good to get out and do things I normally don’t do.  I used to be really, really, really bad at sawing and communicating with other people but now I have improved at both"
