From the Principal

Only One Week to Go!

It’s hard to believe, but we’re just one week away from the mid-term break.  This term has been a whirlwind of learning and extra-curricular activities, and we’re so proud of all our students and staff for their incredible efforts this term.

There’s still plenty happening next week.  NAIDOC Week 2025 celebrates its 50th anniversary and is held from July 6th to 13th. The theme for the week is "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy", which acknowledges the past while looking forward to the future leadership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.  Students will participate in various NAIDOC activities next week.

Next term we have lots to look forward to, camp for Grades 4 and 6, book week, aths trials for Grades 3-6, Footy day, and of course the school concert.  The grades have already started learning their songs and dances and the actors have been busy rehearsing.

Reports can be accessed today via COMPASS and Parent teacher interviews will take place via Webex on Tuesday 1st July.  Bookings can be made via Compass, and teachers have sent their Webex link out today.

State Aerobic Finals

Good luck to the two PPS Aerobic teams who will be competing at the State finals on Saturday.

Curriculum Day - Tuesday 1st July

Next Tuesday, 1st July, is a pupil-free day. Staff will be involved in planning sessions during the morning, followed by Parent-Teacher Interviews from 1:00pm via Webex.

If you require TheirCare on this day, please ensure you book in as soon as possible.

Last Day Term 2 Friday 4th July– Early Finish

Early finish next Friday 2:30pm.  Assembly will begin at 2:00pm and students will be dismissed from their classrooms at 2:30pm.

We hope everyone has an enjoyable holiday break whether you are staying at home or travelling.  We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday 21st July.

Kind regards
