BPPS Reconciliation Action Plan Progress

Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is being worked on, with the aim to complete it by the end of 2025.
The Reconciliation Action Plan community group met on Wednesday the 30th of July to discuss progress and ideas.
As part of our work, we would like to share information about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures. Our aim is to share about local events and information particularly related to the areas of Country and Place, Culture and People.
Our first recommendation is a visit to The Potter Museum of Art at Melbourne University to view the 65000 Years exhibition.
65,000 Years: A Short History of Australian Art celebrates the brilliance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art while confronting the dark heart of Australia’s colonial historyand proclaims the importance of Indigenous knowledge and agency.
We are looking forward to working with Mark Lumley from our Koorie Education Unit who will be joining us in Keen Green Team on the 21st of August.
We are looking for anyone else interested in being part of the working group to reach out.
