Calming a busy mind
In our Resilience Project lesson, we were looking at calming a busy mind. We think it was really good because it made us feel calm and relaxed at the end of a busy day. We think we should do it again because we all really enjoyed it. Part of the activity was to go outside and see what we could see, feel what we could feel and write down what we were thinking. We all felt relaxed and we all took our minds off all the busy and challenging things at school.

What does prayer look like in Year 5/6?
We create a prayerful experience where we relax, take in the world around us using our senses. We listen to quiet music, we smell the essential oil, we view peaceful and joyful images, and we use our sense of touch to create prayer stones. We pray for those we love, for the things we are grateful for, and for the beautiful world around us.
Year 2 Wind Driven Cars
As part of our Inquiry topic on Living sustainably we designed and built wind driven cars reusing materials which otherwise go into landfill. It was a lot of fun too!!
