Referendum Day - Sausage Sizzle and Cake Stall
Blackburn Primary School have been chosen as a voting centre for Referendum Day on Saturday 14 October. We will be hosting a Sausage Sizzle and Cake Stall. A sign-up roster will soon be distributed to families on Compass to assist on the day and plates will be coming home in Term 4 to contribute items for our Bake Stall. All monies raised will go towards the new running track.
Trivia Night - Expression of Interest
P&F are looking to host a Trivia Night on Saturday 18th November and would like to gauge the interest of the School community to attend. Can you please take 2min to complete this quick poll to let us know if you would like to attend? This will help us decide if we run this event.
Ladies Spring Soiree Event
The BPS Ladies Race Day has been a tradition for over 10 years. The day provides the opportunity for the ladies of BPS to get dressed up and socialise in a relaxed setting, with food, fun and bubbles.
To minimise costs and to maintain a community feel, the location has traditionally been in close proximity to the school (for ease of drop off/pick up too!), where we ask a BPS family to open up their home to host the day.
(The cost of the event is covered by ticket sales and there is a minor fundraising element that takes place on the day with some raffles.)
This year food and beverage contractors have been confirmed for Friday 27 October.
If you love to entertain and would be happy to host this event for approx 50-60 ladies of BPS then please let us know ASAP.
Together with the support of a sub-committee (put together by you), you will also be well supported and guided by the P&F, including budget, equipment & resources etc.

Call out for P&F Committee for 2024
Later this year we will be holding our AGM for our P&F Assoc for 2024. If you are interested in helping plan and organise the fundraising events and activities that take place at the school we invite you to come along and find out more information about what roles are available and what events are planned for the new year to raise funds for the running track.
