Sacramental Wrap Up

Congratulations to the following children for receiving the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist on the weekend of Saturday 12 August and Sunday 13th August. This was an important step in the children’s faith journey.

We would like to thank all families and Sponsors who supported the children.  We would like to thank all staff members who attended the Masses leading up to and including the Sacramental Celebrations.  We would also like to thank Fr Michael for his gentle guidance and wisdom.  Mandy Parker, in the Parish Office, takes on all of the administrative tasks to ensure a successful Sacramental experience.  Thank you Mandy.

Prayer Gathering

This week Kerryn and Emma’s Grade 2 class will lead us in prayer on the Parable of the Lost Sheep and the theme of “no-one is left behind”.

Deb and Lauren’s Grade 3 class will lead us the following Friday (1st September) in a Prayer Gathering for all the dads, grandpas and special men in our lives.

Religious Education Leaders Conference

Today and tomorrow we are away in the picturesque Halls Gap with the other Religious Education Leaders from the Ballarat Diocese. We will be working with Sr. Veronica Lawson on prayer and spirituality.
