Team St George's sets new pace 

Ten members of staff headed into work bright and early on Sunday, 27 August - joining thousands of runners and walkers assembled outside our front door in William St to set off on the City to Surf.

While Mr Kerrigan and Ms Tagore set the barometre high for running, most staff were happy to power walk and chat all the way up and down hills to City Beach, with some intermittent jogging along the way.

Dressed in bright red custom-made T-shirts, Team St George's was easy to spot in the crowd. We saw Mrs Deb Kerfoot waving from the sidelines where she patiently waited with her pooch, while Mrs Melissa Mann and family surprised the team with a sign on a bus stop near where they set up a picnic.

It was a fun day, great to be active and the consensus was Team St George's will be back, bigger and possibly better, for the 12km challenge next year.
