Parents' Association

Term 3 Thanks

Thank you to our wonderful Sacred Heart community for another fantastic term with the Parents Association. We enjoyed some fabulous events this term, including Grandparents Day Morning Tea, the Father’s Day Stall and Morning Tea, and our annual Golf Day. A special thank you to the Year 2 Parent Reps and families for organising a beautiful Grandparents Day celebration, and to our Senior Level Parent Reps and families for putting together such a memorable Father’s Day with the stall and morning tea. In particular a big thanks to Emma and Elisa for planning, buying and coordinating the Father’s Day Stall.

We also give a huge thanks to Anton for once again coordinating a fantastic Golf Day. It was a brilliant day enjoyed by the dads and raised an incredible $7,000 towards our plans for a new sensory garden and quiet play space in the quadrangle. Thank you also goes to all the hole sponsors, dads who played and attended the dinner. We really appreciate your support!

Finally, thank you to every family for your support and participation in these special occasions. Together, you help create the strong, welcoming and vibrant community we are so proud of here at Sacred Heart.

Upcoming Events

Footy Colours Special Lunch

Next Thursday is our Footy Colours Special Lunch! Orders have now closed, and we look forward to a fun lunch for the children. A big thank you to the PA Executive for organising this special event for our children.

Christmas Market – December 4th

We are excited to announce that a small Christmas Market will be held as part of our Christmas Carols on Thursday 4th December. The market will be a wonderful opportunity to showcase our school to the local community, strengthen connections within our Sacred Heart community, and raise funds for our planned sensory/quiet play area in the quadrangle.

A big thank you to Lucinda, Bec, Liz and Marlo for volunteering to be part of the organising committee. If you’d like to join them, please email sacredheartpa3101@gmail.com or let your Parent Rep know, and they can pass your details on. There will be a Christmas Market Committee meeting early next term.

We are also seeking donations from both school and local businesses, as well as expressions of interest from anyone who would like to run a stall at the market. To get involved or donate, please contact us at sacredheartpa3101@gmail.com and we’ll share further details.

More information about the event and ways you can help will be shared next term – stay tuned!

Sacred Heart Meals Service

What is the meals service?

The Sacred Heart Meals Service is available to all Sacred Heart families that require some practical help in the form of meals at a time of need. This may be due to a very happy occasion such as a new birth in the family, or in more difficult circumstances such as a death or illness in a family.

How does it work?

The Meals Service Coordinators can be contacted by a teacher, class rep, member of the Parents Association, a friend within the school or the family members themselves. The coordinators would then contact the family to chat about what would be helpful (e.g. how often, favourite meals, dietary requirements etc) and then coordinate the service, requesting assistance from the relevant year level.

It’s important to note that we are very careful in being discreet at all times and maintaining confidentiality, ensuring the family are happy with what information (if any) is passed on to those we are asking to assist.

We can be contacted via the following methods:

Kind regards,
