From the Principal

We would like to acknowledge the original custodians of this land

and waterways and pay our respects to the Elders past and

present and emerging, for they hold the memories, the traditions,

the culture and hopes of Indigenous Australia.

" Every child matters. Every moment counts!"

Summer Uniform & Hats in Term 4

On return to Term Four the children can begin to wear the summer uniform but we know that Melbourne's weather has four seasons in one day so the winter one may still be worn until 20 October 2025.

As always, hats must be worn when outside.

Road Safety Around School

The traffic around the school and surrounding streets has become a concern in recent times. Drivers are often going through red lights. Please take an extra look when crossing any road for drivers who are not doing the correct thing.  Please use the crossing at all times.

Staff News Update

Mrs Kathy Sansalone will be taking leave next year to travel with her husband.  We wish them the best of good luck and safe travels in their adventures.

In her place, Mrs Tracey Birthisel will take on the responsibility of the Administration Officer.

Laptops

New laptops have recently been purchased and  shared throughout the school. Each student in Year 3 to 6 will have a new laptop to take responsibility for.  Thank you to the PFA for contributing $5000 towards the almost $30,000 that the school outlaid.

Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge

Congratulations  to Nathan, Natalie, Chiara, Paulina, Matilda and Tobias who took part in the reading challenge this year and received a Certificate of Achievement.  Thank you to Kathy Sansalone for organising the challenge for our students and making sure that the library has up to date literature for the students.

Have a relaxing rest from school and may those who are going away have a safe holiday.

Sincerely yours.

Margaret Carlei
