Auslan

This week in Auslan, Grade 4 and 5 students have been learning how to express their feelings. They watched The Colour Monster story in Auslan and used their understanding to design their own Feelings Monsters. Students also practised their vocabulary through games such as Auslan Bingo and Guess the Emoji. 

Grade 5 students extended their learning by creating bilingual emotions flashcards, which they then used to play games like Snap and Memory.

Grade 6 students have been exploring how to tell the time in Auslan. They created their own Auslan clocks and showcased their skills through bilingual presentations, sharing information about their daily routines.
