Principals Report

Upcoming Events

Dear Families,

As we head towards the end of term, it is wonderful to see the school buzzing with energy and excitement. Our students and staff have been working hard in the classrooms while also enjoying the many activities and events that make this time of year so special.

Grade 1 Swimming

Our Grade 1 students are having an absolute ball at their swimming program, which continues next week from Tuesday 10th – Friday 13th September. It has been fantastic to see their confidence grow in the water each day!

R U OK? Day

On Thursday 11th September, we will acknowledge R U OK? Day. This is a special opportunity to highlight the importance of looking out for one another and starting meaningful conversations about wellbeing. Students are invited to wear a splash of yellow and bring a gold coin donation to support this important cause.

MAD Day

On Monday 15th September, our Grade 6 students will host MAD Day. They have been working hard on their business ideas and will run a wide variety of stalls offering games, food, drinks, and plenty of fun! Each class will have an allocated time to join in, and this day is always a highlight on our school calendar.

Blue Day

On Tuesday 16th September, we will hold Blue Day to raise awareness and support for the Deaf Foundation. The colour blue is used globally to celebrate the International Day of Sign Languages and to raise awareness of the Deaf community. Students are encouraged to come dressed in blue to show their support and solidarity.

Footy Dress Up Day

We’ll round off the term with a favourite tradition — Footy Dress Up Day on Friday 19th September. Students are invited to wear their team colours and join in the fun. We can’t wait to see which team has the most supporters on the day!

Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us create such a vibrant, connected, and positive school community. Wishing you all a smooth and enjoyable end to the term.

Warm Regards,

Jodie Day
