Student Engagement

Program Support Group (PSG) Meetings

A Program Support Group (PSG) meeting is a partnership among parents or caregivers, the student, school staff, and, when needed, other professionals. The aim is to work together to make sure your child’s learning and well-being needs are well supported.

This term, PSG meetings will begin in Week 8 of Term 3. If you have received an invitation by email, please book your meeting online through School Interviews. We strongly encourage parents and carers to attend, as your input is significant in helping us set meaningful goals and strategies for your child.

At a PSG meeting, we will work together to:

  • Celebrate your child’s strengths across learning, social, emotional, cultural, and well-being areas.
  • Look at data and reports (from school assessments or health professionals) to understand your child’s needs.
  • Decide on priority areas for growth and learning.
  • Review progress toward current goals and set new ones where needed.
  • Discuss the supports, strategies, and adjustments that are in place for your child.
  • Consider specialist advice if further support is required.

These meetings are an opportunity for open communication, shared decision-making, and personalised planning to best support your child’s education.

We look forward to meeting with you and working together to support your child’s learning journey.
