Term 3 Week 9

Dear Williamstown North Primary School Families,

As Term 3 comes to a close at Williamstown North Primary, it’s a wonderful time to reflect on the many exciting events and achievements that have filled the past months. The school has been buzzing with energy, learning, and community spirit, as students and staff embraced a wide variety of opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom. From milestone celebrations to special programs, Term 3 has truly highlighted the joy of learning, and the strength of our school community.

One of the most memorable highlights was the 100 Days of School celebration for our Foundation students. Reaching this milestone was a chance to reflect on just how much growth and learning has already taken place this year. The day was filled with fun activities, creative displays, and plenty of smiles, as children proudly shared their learning journey so far.

Camps also played an important role in Term 3, offering students the chance to challenge themselves, build independence, and strengthen friendships. Our Year 3 students embarked on their first school camp, experiencing a taste of adventure and teamwork beyond the classroom. Meanwhile, the Year 6 camp provided an unforgettable experience for our senior students as they embraced new challenges, developed leadership skills, and created lasting memories in their final year of primary school.

The school also came together to celebrate Book Week and Numeracy Week, both of which showcased the creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm of our students. Book Week encouraged a love of reading, with colourful costumes, engaging activities, and stories that sparked imagination. Numeracy Week, on the other hand, highlighted the fun and practical side of mathematics, with games, problem-solving challenges, and activities that made numbers come alive in new and exciting ways.

Altogether, Term 3 has been a time of growth, achievement, and celebration at Williamstown North Primary. Students have had the chance to explore, connect, and shine in many different areas, and the term has set the stage for even more learning and success as we look forward to Term 4.

A reminder to all that Term 4 commences Tuesday 7 October (Monday 6 October is a Curriculum Day for staff), and in line with our SunSmart policy, students are required to wear a hat outside at all times - https://www.psw.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?cat=10110&q=hat

See you in Term 4,
