Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to the last newsletter for Term 3.
The Sacred Heart School Kaleidoscope Gala Ball was a dazzling success, bringing together families, friends, and the wider Boggabri community for an unforgettable evening of celebration, generosity, and community spirit.
Held in the spirit of colour and joy, the Kaleidoscope Ball was more than just a social occasion – it was a powerful display of what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared purpose. Funds raised on the night will go towards the construction of a brand-new Ninja-style playground, giving Sacred Heart students a modern, fun, and active space to enjoy for years to come.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the incredible Sacred Heart Parents, Teachers and Friends Committee, whose vision, dedication, and countless hours of planning and preparation brought the Gala Ball to life. From organising the event to coordinating the many details that made the night so special, their hard work ensured a seamless and memorable celebration.
The school also extends its deep gratitude to the many local businesses who generously donated items for the auction and lucky door prizes. The outstanding level of support from the Boggabri and wider business communities played a vital role in the success of the night and is a true reflection of the spirit of giving and support that makes our town so unique. Sam Plevey did an outstanding job as our Auctioneer for the evening!
Guests were treated to delicious catering by Belly’s Up BBQ, whose mouth-watering menu delighted all in attendance. A huge shout-out and thanks to the Boggabri Swimming Club, who provided some volunteers to serve the delicious meals to our 98 guests. Local favourite Sam Snape set the tone for the evening with his live music, keeping guests entertained and the dance floor busy.
A special thank you also goes to all the attendees who decorated their tables in their chosen colour themes. The creativity and flair on display added so much vibrancy to the event. After much admiration and fun competition, the winning table was awarded to the bright and cheerful Sunshine Citrus table, also known as “The Golden Girls.”
The Kaleidoscope Gala Ball was a night to remember – a celebration of community, creativity, and generosity that will leave a lasting legacy for the students of Sacred Heart School.
Wishing everyone a productive and rewarding Week 9!
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.
Warm regards,
Claire Ryan
