Welcome to Week 6!

We have now reached the halfway mark of what has been an incredibly busy and productive term. A sincere and heartfelt thank you to all staff for their outstanding work, professionalism, and unwavering commitment that they consistently demonstrate across the school. The positive learning environments they create, the strong relationships they build with students and families, and the collaborative spirit they foster truly reflect the care, dedication, and passion they bring each day. Their efforts make a significant and lasting difference in the lives of our students.

Parents and carers, if you have the opportunity, please take a moment to thank your child's educators—they are doing a fantastic job!

Important Reminder: Staff Toilets and Visitor Supervision

The staff toilet located at the back of the library, near D Block, is strictly for staff use only and is not to be used by parents or carers.

It has been brought to our attention that some parent/carers have been wandering down corridors and accessing this toilet. For the safety and wellbeing of all students, it is essential that parents/carers remain in the QUAD area when picking up their children in the afternoon. If you need to enter the school buildings or visit classrooms, you must first report to the office to ensure appropriate supervision and adherence to our child protection policies.

These measures help us maintain a secure environment for students and staff. We appreciate your cooperation in respecting these boundaries and keeping our school community safe.

Attendance Focus

In the coming fortnight, our focus will be on “Arriving to School on Time.” Punctuality is key to starting the day positively and being ready to learn. The class with the fewest late arrivals during this period will be rewarded! Please encourage your child to arrive at school on time and prepare for a great day of learning.

Reconciliation Week and Sorry Day

We continue to embed meaningful activities into morning circles to acknowledge and respect this important time of year. These activities help deepen students’ understanding and appreciation of Reconciliation Week and National Sorry Day. We encourage you to ask your child about what they are learning and experiencing during this special week.

Thank you for your ongoing support in making our school a wonderful place for everyone.
