Book Week is here - Book an Adventure!

Get ready to "Book an Adventure" as we celebrate Book Week from Monday 18th August to Friday 22nd August! There's something for everyone with a special visit from talented illustrator Charmaine Leddon-Lewis, and of course, our much-loved Book Parade.

The Book Parade will take place on Friday 22nd August at the basketball courts, where students can dress up as their favourite book characters and share their love of reading. We can't wait to see everyone dressed up as their favourite book characters!

This week’s Book Review:

4L read How to Move a Zoo by Kate Simpson and Owen Swan. We liked this book because it is based on real events that happened in 1916. The amazing illustrations showed Jessie the elephant’s calm, early morning walk through the streets of Sydney, from the old zoo in Moore Park to the new Taronga Zoo. The story helped us understand how careful and brave Jessie was, and how many people worked together to move the animals. We recommend this book to anyone who enjoys animals and real-life adventures.
