Celebrating Our Young Authors in Years 3/4

This term, our Year 3/4 students have been hard at work developing their skills as writers. From the very first spark of an idea to the final polished piece, they have taken on the full writing process — planning, drafting, editing, and publishing their work.

Their writing focus was "My Favourite Memory", a topic that inspired heartfelt, funny, and thoughtful stories. Students shared treasured moments with family and friends, exciting adventures, and special achievements that have stayed with them over the years.

Throughout the term, they learned how to organise their ideas, choose words that paint vivid pictures for the reader, and edit their work to make it even stronger. The publishing stage was a proud moment for all — their finished pieces are a true celebration of their creativity, effort, and persistence.

We are so proud of the way our Year 3/4 authors have grown as storytellers and as learners. Their writing not only captures wonderful memories but also shows just how much they’ve learned about the power of words.

Well done, 3/4s — your memories will now live on the page for others to enjoy!
