Exploring Futures: Year 9 Career and Course Counselling Highlights

Over the past fortnight, our Year 9 students have taken exciting steps toward shaping their futures through the Morrisby Career Counselling sessions and Course Counselling for Year 10 2026.

During the Morrisby sessions, students met one-on-one with trained career consultants to explore their Morrisby Profile, a powerful tool that helps identify career and education pathways aligned with their unique skills, interests and personality traits. The feedback from our careers counsellors has been overwhelmingly positive, with many impressed by how prepared and thoughtful our students were in discussing their aspirations.

On Friday August 15th, students also participated in course counselling for their transition into Year 10. These personalised appointments attended by students and their families provided a valuable opportunity to discuss subject choices for 2026 and begin looking ahead to VCE. The day was filled with powerful conversations, reflecting the thoughtful consideration our students are giving to their future pathways.

We are proud of our Year 9 cohort for embracing these opportunities with maturity and enthusiasm. Their engagement is a testament to the strength of our learning community and the bright futures ahead.
