Specialist Snapshot

PE
Grade 6s have started SEPEP (Sport Education and Physical Education Program) this term. It is a term long program involving each class being split into 3 teams. Students will learn skills of a sport one week and then the following week will compete in a round robin against the other teams within the class.
Basketball, netball, AFL and soccer will be the sports G6s will learn and compete in this term. All students have a responsibility to perform such as running warms ups, scoring, umpiring, organising equipment to name a few.
The emphasis is on inclusion and sportsmanship. Students aim to share the ball, accept decisions and be a team player. All G6 classes have had one competition so far in basketball and it has been a really great start to the program.
