Book Week

Book Week is almost here, and we have an exciting week of fun planned at Balambalam!

This year's theme, "A Symphony of Stories," celebrates the many stories that inspire, connect, and bring us together. Just like the instruments in an orchestra, every story has its own unique voice, creating a beautiful symphony of imagination, creativity, and learning.

We can't wait to celebrate with our students and families as we enjoy a fantastic week filled with books, dress-ups, and special events!

Book Week Parade

Wednesday 26th August | 9:00 am

Students are invited to come dressed as their favourite book character for our Book Week Parade.

Families are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate the creativity and imagination inspired by books.

Rapunzel Show

Monday 31st August

Students will enjoy a whole-school incursion featuring Rapunzel, performed by Alpha Shows.

More information about the performance and session times will be shared closer to the date.

Looking for a Book Week costume?

When you purchase your Book Week costume at Lombard Party & Events Fountain Gate between 6 July and 6 September 2026, simply mention our school's name at the register, and Lombard will donate 5% of eligible costume sales directly to our school library.

It's an easy way to support our students while getting ready for one of the most exciting weeks on the school calendar!

How you can help:

• Shop for your Book Week costume at Lombard Party & Events Fountain Gate.
• Visit between 6 July and 6 September 2026.
• Mention our school's name at the register when making your purchase.

• Lombard will donate 5% of eligible sales back to our school library.
