Children's Week Survey
The City of Casey’s annual Children's Week event will be held on Thursday 22 October 2026 at the Old Cheese Factory in Berwick.
This year’s National Children’s Week theme is "Children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practice their religion.
Every child and family celebrate traditions and activities based on culture, like going to the footy on ANZAC Day, religious celebrations, games, or activities passed down generations or newly formed.
To assist the City of Casey to design a fun Children's Week event celebrating and sharing diverse cultures of Casey’s children up to six years old, they would like to ask them (with the help of parents/carers/educators) about their culture and how they like to celebrate.
We invite you to complete the below survey with your child. There is also the option for children to draw and submit a picture of the way they like to celebrate their culture.
By completing the survey, your child will go in the draw to win one of two family passes to Myuna Farm in Doveton. Please refer to the Myuna Farm Prize Terms and Conditions in the 'document library' on this page.
The survey will close at 11.59pm on Monday 17 August. Winners will be announced and notified by email on Friday 21 August 2026.
Dads Matter - Forum for Men & Fathers
The Forum for Men & Fathers is back for 2026!
Only 50 tickets left for the 2026 Forum for Men & Fathers!
Launched last year, the Forum for Men & Fathers is an opportunity to meet other fantastic father figures and men, and to chat about important topics. Dads Matter recognise that it can be difficult to find a safe space to talk openly about being a man. The Forum is that space. They are inviting men of all ages, from 16 to 100!
Here are some thoughts from men who came along in 2025:
- "It felt safe to talk. That doesn't happen very often for men."
- "5 out of 5. There was no judgement here, just people listening."
- "I took a chance coming tonight and I'm so glad I did."
- "[The Forum] made me realise how much I need spaces like this."
Grab a delicious free dinner, meet other men, hear from the great speakers and get the chance to share your thoughts on important topics.
