Remembrance Day  2024                                           

Thank-you to all of the students who stood so quietly and displayed 

our school value of respect during the Remembrance Day Assembly this week.

Key features of this commemorative assembly included:

- Lowering the flag to half-mast

- Reading of ‘The Ode’

- Listening to ‘The Last Post’

- One minute of silence 

- Laying a wreath at the base of the flagpole

I would like to acknowledge the participation of Mr Camilleri (reading of the Ode) and of our school captain’s: Alex (6C),  Olivia (6C), Anna (6B) and Gurugunn (6C) on the morning of the assembly. Thanks also to Miss Myall who assisted with the sale of poppies and badges.

This year our school raised $156.00 from the sale of poppy merchandise.

This money will be returned to the RSL who greatly appreciate our on-going support.
