Sports Day Thank you

Last Friday we were blessed with a beautiful day to celebrate Sports Day. It was a great day of community fun. The children showed resilience, perseverance and sportsmanship as they participated in tabloid events and races in their community colours. It was wonderful seeing so many families attend the day and we loved seeing the support for the children throughout the day. We would like to extend a big thank you to Miss Bartlett and all our staff for helping to bring the event together and for making the day run smoothly. We would also like to thank all the fabulous volunteers for their time helping out at the BBQ and the families who helped with our pack up at the end of the events. Your time and assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone for another successful event.

LLL Bursaries for Fee Support

The Lutheran Laypeoples League has announced the provision of an LLL Bursary Grant from the commencement of the 2025 school year with the guiding principle to provide the opportunity for as many students as possible to attend a Lutheran school who would otherwise be precluded from doing so due to financial hardship.

The bursary grants are intended to be awarded for a maximum of six years but reviewed on an annual basis to ensure financial need remains and the recipient continues to contribute broadly and positively to the life of the school.  They are prioritised to those children entering the traditional primary and secondary intake years, that is, the first year of formal primary schooling or the first year of secondary school.  The grants are to cover up to 50% of the annual tuition fee (exclusive of camps and levies) up to a maximum of $5,000.

Only applications received prior to Sunday 24 November 2024 will be considered by the assessment panel with notifications to the school and applicants expected in early December.
