The Gift of Giving
As your child may have told you, Endeavour College will be gathering food and personal care donations for Lutheran Care to distribute to those less fortunate during the holiday season.
Lutheran Care has been working for over 50 years to bring life-changing support to those who need it most.
Endeavour has often partnered with Lutheran Care, bringing in hundreds of donations over the years.
Each Village has been assigned a specific type of product to bring in, these categories are:
- cans
- jars
- boxes
- packets
- treats
- Christmas foods
- hygiene items
- liquids (can include tea bags, gravy and coffee)
Please check with your child which group their Village has been assigned before helping them source items.
The Village that brings in the most donations receive a special prize, and individual winners may receive an extra special prize.
Care Group teachers will regularly remind students, but we also ask that parents bring it up in conversation and play an active part in this process.
This is an awesome opportunity to give back to the community just in time for Christmas, so let’s make this holiday season merry for all!
Please get on board and encourage your child to bring in as many donations as they can,
it might just make someone’s Christmas!
