Lacrosse Gala Day

Last Friday four teams of year 5 and 6s went to the Lacrosse Gala day. The Year 6 girls team won all our games and made it to the grand final! It was a tough game but we pushed through and won. Now we are now going to the State Championships at Fawkner Park. The Year 6 boys won 1 game, lost one game and drew another game. They sadly didn’t make it to the finals but they tried their best.

The Year 5 girls did an amazing job and won all 3 games. They made it to the semi finals but sadly lost against very tough opposition. The Year 5 boys won all their games and made it to the grand final! They played an awesome game and are now also going to the state finals.

Thank you to Mr Edwards for organising the day and to Miss Megan and Miss Amelie for assisting Miss Douglas and Mrs Lamb.

Wall of Champions

Dear Parents

We are the Year 6 Sport Leadership group and we are going to start to build a ‘Wall of Fame’ or ‘Wall of Champions”.  If your child has excelled in Sport, Music, Performing Arts, Art or Dance and you would like to be on our Wall of Fame please send a photo of your child (in action or similar) with a caption of what they made it for, for the wall of fame. As a leadership group we will then decide which ones will go on our wall. If you have any questions or queries please contact us via Mr Edwards and we will try to answer your query.

Examples might be: -

Regional or State representative in a sport -
