Cyber Safety

Qustodio St Pats Parent Cyber Safety App

Dear Parents,

As we are nearing the end of term 4 and the Chistmas holidays are fast approaching we would like to remind you of our Cyber Safety Parent App- Qustodio. We invite you to create your parent account and claim your child’s account as you partner with us in further building healthy digital habits and a safe online environment for your child. You may find this useful over the holidays as children may be spending greater time on screens. These tools will provide you with insights and visibility to help you better understand how your child is engaging with their personal device at home. You will also be able to:

  • Schedule your child’s screen-free times
  • Create custom routines (e.g. study, sleep & play)
  • Apply custom web filtering rules
  • Apply app and game time & access limits
  • Supervise your child’s online activity
  • Pause the Internet
  • Access expert advice via our School Online Safety Hub

How to create your Qustodio Account

Please use the custom link below to create your family Qustodio parent account:

Click HERE to Create your Qustodio Parent Account

To commence the Qustodio account creation process - one parent/guardian must create the initial account, and then additional parents/guardians can be invited and given access to your Qustodio account in order to share visibility over your child’s device at home. Click here for a ‘how to’ video.

As a reminder, our school’s offer allows you to protect one personal device (phones, shared iPads, etc) per child attending St Pats free of charge.

Thank you for partnering with us in this exciting new stage to support our children’s Digital Wellbeing journey.

St Pats takes cyber safety very seriously so students have been directed to the eSafety kids website if they ever need help when online. This link has also been placed on the students' homepage when accessing the internet at school.

The eSafety website also has a page for parents and carers which is full of useful information.
