NETBALL COORDINATOR
We would like to thank Jackie McDonald for taking on this roll for the last couple of seasons. She has been a great coordinator and coach for our students. Unfortunately Jackie is unable to continue in this role, so we are looking for expressions of interest for the St Liborius Netball Coordinator role. Please contact the Office if you are interested.
UNWELL STUDENTS
If your child is ill or is feeling unwell, they MUST NOT attend school.
They must remain home and seek medical advice.
If your child is absent can you please let the admin staff know via admin@sleaglehawk.catholic.edu.au or complete a Parent Notified Absence on PAM rather than emailing the classroom teacher. This will prevent an SMS absence being generated.
BEFORE SCHOOL SUPERVISION
Students are supervised in the school grounds from 8:30am. Any student who is at school prior to 8:30am will be unsupervised. Thank you for your support with this.
LATE TO SCHOOL
Parents please make sure you enter the Panton Street entrance and sign your child in at the office if you are late to school. Please make sure you follow all the social distancing rules and only one adult is with their children in the office at the same time. Parents will have to wait outside until the office is clear to enter. Children are then to walk themselves to their classrooms.
SIGN IN / SIGN OUT
All children leaving school during the day need to be signed out by an authorised adult. You will need to sign the student out of the school via the Kiosk in the school office. All students need to be accompanied by an authorised adult to sign them
in on their return to school.
Just a reminder to all families to bring in any ongoing medication and updated Asthma plans to the office on the first day of school. (Thursday 1st February).
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
We love seeing our students participate in extra curricular activities and enjoy the rewards they gain from this. We would love you to share these special moments so as a school community we can celebrate together...drawing on the positive things happening in our lives. Please send to admin@sleaglehawk.catholic.edu.au and we will add to our newsletter. Our Facebook page tends to extend to a greater demographic, so only school related posts will be shared on this platform due to safety reasons

Schools Fee's and Levy statements are sent via email at the start of every month. Families with Direct Debit setup will see their balance reduce. If you have any issues with paying your fee's please contact the office to talk to the principal.

HCC DISCOUNT 2025

DIGITAL DEVICES
Just a reminder: If your child has a mobile phone, tablet, smart watch etc that they bring to school, they need to leave it with the office staff in the morning and collect at the end of the school day. Please have their name on the back of the device for easy identification.
MEDICATION POLICY
Many children need to either regularly or “at times” take medication at school. In the event of children taking regular medication, (eg. Asthma inhalers), they should be encouraged to be open and quite natural and learn to self administer properly.
In the event of medication being required to be administered at school, parents are asked to complete a ‘medical administration form’. This form includes written instructions eg dosage, and signed permission to administer the medicine. All medication should be in a container in which it was dispensed from the pharmacy. Please note no analgesics (Panadol, nurofen) can be administered at school unless there is written permission from a doctor.
We are most particular with children who have suffered any injury and we will not hesitate to contact families or emergency number if we have doubts at all – particularly head injuries, suspected bone damage etc - we would rather err on the side of CAUTION.
Our teachers do regular updates on ASTHMA, EPILEPSY, ANAPHYLAXIS etc. If your child suffers from a particular condition please let the school know. You will be required to provide an Action Plan signed by a doctor for certain conditions .
If your child's medical information (phone numbers, medical conditions etc) changes at any time please ensure you contact the school office
