MARK 13: 24-32
In Sunday’s Gospel, Mark speaks about the coming of the Son of Man and the signs that will accompany the end times. Jesus describes cosmic disturbances—darkened skies, falling stars—and the arrival of the Son of Man in great power and glory. He urges His followers to remain watchful, reminding them that no one knows the exact day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
PRAYER
Loving God,
Help me to stay watchful and ready, trusting in Your perfect timing. Fill
my heart with faith, not fear, as I await the fulfilment of Your promises.
May I live each day with purpose, seeking Your will and growing closer
to You. Strengthen my spirit to remain vigilant and faithful, knowing
that Your word is everlasting and true.
Amen.
