Dear Parents,

Students from year 5/6 recently enjoyed a wonderful time at Phillip Island Adventure Resort, participating in an outdoor adventure camp. A huge thanks to our camp staff, Naomi, Lisa, Angela, David and Robyn who went above and beyond to ensure all of our students were supported.

It is hard to believe we are heading into the last few weeks of the school year. We have our big Christmas celebration coming up with our end of year school Mass, Nativity, Spirit of St Mary’s awards and Nativity on Friday 13th December. This will be followed by the colour run and Christmas Carols. Please support the event and come along to celebrate our wonderful community.

Raffle tickets were sent home on Thursday for the bumper Christmas Raffle!

We also have the opening of the new building on Wednesday 11th December at 2pm in the new building. All welcome to attend.

On the 10th December, our official Orientation Day, all students in the school will attend a session with their new teacher for 2025. This provides an opportunity for students to be prepared for the following school year. The students will participate in orientation activities from 8.45am - 10.45am.

On this day, you will receive an envelope with all of the necessary information pertaining to the 2025 school year. This will also be sent home via Operoo.

You will be invited to book in for an individual session with your child’s teacher at the commencement of the 2025 school year. This information will be provided in the information pack.

I have provided important information below pertaining to dates for both the end of term and the commencement of the 2025 school year.

Finally, thanks to our wonderful community for the support and well wishes last week on the birth of our first grandchild, Albie Ryan Taylor. A precious baby for our family to love and enjoy.

The last day for students for the 2024 school year is Tuesday 17th December.

Students will be dismissed for the end of year at 3.15pm.
