From the Principal's Desk
Dear Parents,
This week is Catholic Education Week, which is an opportunity for all Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne to celebrate their Catholic identity, the pivotal role they play within their local sector. The theme for 2025 is ‘Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you’ (Isa 60:1).
Our Year 6 Leaders will join with representatives of all schools across the Archdiocese at the annual St Patrick’s Mass celebrated on Friday 21st March at St Patrick’s Cathedral. We will share some photos of the event, however keep an eye on the major free to air news on Friday night as this event usually makes the news.
Enrolments
Enrolments for 2026 are now open and we have conducted a number of tours already. There are two important opportunities coming in the next week and we encourage you to attend if you have a Foundation student for next year and also to share the information with family, friends, neighbours and the local community.
Open Morning
Our Open Morning is an opportunity to visit our school and see a variety of learning from 9:00am-10:30am this Thursday 20th March. Our specialist program will be operating as well as several other learning activities. Morning tea will be served in the hall at 10:30am. Everyone is welcome.
Zoom Information Session
Another aspect of our Enrolment program is our Information Sessions. We will hold the online session via Zoom next Tuesday 25th March at 7:00pm. Another in person session will be offered on Tuesday 6th May.

Assembly this Friday
The whole school assembly is this Friday 21th March at 3.00pm in the hall. Our year 3/4 classes will be hosting.
Learning Conversations
Learning Conversations are being held next Tuesday 25th March from 3:30pm - 6:00pm. These are compulsory and all students are to attend with at least one parent. Students take great pride in sharing their learning and their classrooms with you so this session is very important.

School Photos
On Thursday 27th March we will have our school photographer on site for our annual school photos. The envelopes from the School Photographer will be sent home this afternoon. Sibling envelopes are available at the office.
Students are to be in full summer uniform on that day, with their hair tied back, if shoulder length or longer and only one piece or religious jewellery .
If students have P.E on a Thursday they should bring their runners in their bags and they will have the opportunity to change their footwear prior to their lesson.
NAPLAN
NAPLAN is now completed and we are very proud of the persistence and positive approach and attitude of our students. Thank you to Mr Reed for his organisation and implementation of the program over the past 6 weeks and to our staff who assisted with supervision.
