A Message from Keir and Emma

“We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, the first people to dream, create, wonder, dance, play and learn on this breathtaking land. This land was cared for and respected for tens of thousands of years. The First Nations people lived in companionship with the animals and the life on this land. We acknowledge that this is stolen land and we pay our respects to elders, past, present and emerging.”

BNWPS Staff Conference - Student Free Days
A reminder that on Thursday and Friday (27th and 28th March) are student free days. We will be running our annual staff conference where staff will be exploring their Image of the Child through the lens of brain science. They will be discovering how different brain types learn and the strategies they can use to support these brains. Students do not attend school on these days.
A Big Thank-You
We would like to say a very very big thank you to Libby Harper and Paul Treasure. Libby and Paul were our two amazing parent/carer helpers at the Sovereign Hill camp. Importantly, this was not the first camp for either of these veterans, and we absolutely appreciate their willingness, enthusiasm and ability to connect with students and staff. A huge round of applause and a “Hip Hip Hooray” for Paul and Libby. If you see them around the school, make sure you say ‘Thank-You!”
Early Finish Friday 4th April
Just a heads up that next week is the last week of term 1 2025. How quickly the term has flown! On Friday 4th April we will be finishing school at 2.30pm. We will have a short assembly on the basketball court/undercover area at 2.15pm, and we would love to see everyone there.
