What is your role in the College? I am a Maintenance officer at Truganina College. 

 

What is your favourite colour? My favourite colour is blue. 

 

What is your favourite number and why? My favourite number is 2 because it is my birthday. 

 

What is your favourite book? My favourite book is Round The Twist by Paul Jennings. 

 

What is your favourite food? My favourite food is Chocolate, especially strawberry Freddos. 

 

What do you like most about teaching and learning? My job is to ensuring the school property , buildings & grounds are maintained , clean and safe and showing kids also how to look after their school environment.

What is your role in the College? I am a dedicated member of the Learning Growth Team, specializing in numeracy education for Years 3-6. My role involves supporting students in developing their mathematical skills and confidence, enabling them to excel in the subject. I focus on creating engaging learning experiences that foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.

 

What is your favourite colour? My favourite colour is red because it evokes a sense of energy, passion, and vibrancy. I find it inspiring and dynamic, making it a colour that truly captivates me.

 

What is your favourite number and why? My favourite number is 7 because it holds personal significance for me. My birthday falls in the 7th month (27/07), my first name and surname both contain seven letters, and my husband's birthdate is 27/07/1987. With so many meaningful connections, 7 is my lucky number, making it even more special to me.

 

What is your favourite book and why? My favourite book is You Can Win by Shiv Khera because it is highly inspirational and motivating. The stories in this book provide valuable life lessons, encouraging a positive mindset, perseverance,and self-improvement. It has had a profound impact on me, reinforcing the belief that success comes through hard work, determination, and the right attitude.

 

What is your favourite food? My favourite food is Indo-Chinese cuisine. I enjoy its flavours and unique blend of spices. The combination of aromatic sauces, stir-fried vegetables, and noodles or rice makes it truly delicious and satisfying.

 

What do you like most about teaching and learning? I am passionate about seeing students' growth and progress. It is truly rewarding to witness their sense of achievement as they reach their goals. Celebrating their successes motivates me, as it reflects their hard work, determination, and growing confidence.
