Project Compassion

Hi we are the social justice leaders and would like to pass on our thanks for the amazing effort everyone has done with raising money for Caritas.

Over the past week we asked students to dress up for harmony day and donate a gold coin. This combined with donations coming in we have raised altogether $416

As you walk down the corridor you will see the display we have set up to show the amazing efforts from each class. A special mention to year Prep/one, year 4/5 and year 5/6 who have all raised over $100. Thank you for being the hope to those in poorer countries who desperately need our support to build a water tank for their community so they can have fresh water on tap.

e mentioned last term that we would have a Walk for Water afternoon, where we will walk around the oval carrying water, just like people in other parts of the world have to do every day. This will help us understand how important it is to make sure everyone has access to clean water. As it has been a busy term we are planning on holding this event in the first week back next term
