VENUE: Sylvania Waters Athletics Track
Students in Year 3-6 will attend the OLF Athletics Carnival. There will be two divisions on the day: Competitive and Grade. Competitive events require registration, however grade events do not require registration. Please fill in the registration form if your child wishes to compete in COMPETITIVE EVENTS to be considered for selection to compete at the next level of competition.
NOTE: Registrations close FRIDAY, 25th APRIL 2025.
NO late entries will be accepted.
If your child is in Year 2 and is 8 Years old or turning 8 Years old in 2025, they are eligible to compete in the competitive division. Please fill in the registration form if your child demonstrates a high level of ability in Athletics and meets the age requirement.
Ava P, Alexis D and Fleur L competed at the Sydney Netball Trial. Congratulations to Ava P and Alexis D for being chosen in the Sydney team. The girls will now travel to Canberra to compete in the MacKillop Netball Trial. We wish them the best of luck!
We had 6 representatives compete at the recent Sydney Rugby League trials. Congratulations to Atticus I for being chosen in the U11 boys teams and Ryan C for being selected in the U12 boys division. We wish them all the best at the MacKillop Rugby League trial.
The following students competed at the Conference 3 Touch Football Trials:
Congratulations to Harvey B, Nash C, Ryan C, Alexis D, Mia B and Edie D for being selected to compete at the Sydney Touch Football Trials. We wish them the best of luck!
Anson V was selected in the Sydney Soccer team that will now compete at the MacKillop trial later next term. We wish him all the best at the next level of competition.
OLF had 3 relay teams competing at the MacKillop Swimming Championships. The senior boys and girls teams placed 4th and the junior boys placed on the podium in 2nd position. The junior boys will now compete at the NSW PSSA Swimming Championships next week.
A huge congratulations to Asher H who won the junior boys 200m IM. We can’t wait to see the results at the next level.
The Junior boys relay team competed at the NSW PSSA Swimming Championships on Thursday. The boys swam a 3 second personal best and placed 13th overall.
Asher H also raced in the 200m IM, swimming a fantastic race and earning a spot in the final. The final will be held today and we can’t wait to hear the result. Good luck Asher!
Students from Year 5 and 6 competed at the Interschool Netball and European Handball Gala Day. They played many games against other schools from Conference 3. Each team had wins and had a lot of fun, demonstrating sportsmanship along the way.
We are proud to announce that the Level 1 Girls Netball Team were undefeated on the day and were crowned the overall winning team. The girls will now compete at the Interconference Championships next term!
A huge thank you to the parent volunteers who helped coach the teams on the day.
Anson V recently competed at the Australian Athletics Championships held in Perth. He is now the new Australian Champion and record holder in the U13 90m Hurdles. Anson also placed 2nd in the u13 Long Jump with a personal best jump of 5.15m. We are beyond proud of his incredible achievements! Anson will be featured in the Catholic Weekly written by the SCS Sport team.
