Senior School News

Well done to our amazing Senior School students! Your dedication, hard work, and leadership set a fantastic example for the entire school community. Our younger students are incredibly fortunate to have such inspiring role models and leaders to look up to.

Camp Rumbug

The Year 5 students had an unforgettable time at Camp Rumbug, embracing every challenge with enthusiasm and teamwork. From the heart pounding leap of faith and soaring across the flying fox to the excitement of canoeing and the strategic thinking required for orienteering, each activity brought new adventures and personal growth. The team challenge strengthened friendships, while the mud run tested resilience and brought plenty of laughter. Evenings were just as special, with everyone gathered around the campfire, sharing stories, singing songs, and ending the night with the simple joy of toasting marshmallows. Throughout their time at camp, students collected beads representing different character strengths and values, a reminder of their achievements and personal growth. A huge congratulations to Liam, Noah, and Taj, who were named the CAMP CHAMPS for consistently demonstrating these values throughout camp. Well done to all the students for making Camp Rumbug such a memorable adventure!

Well done to the students who braved the wrath of Mrs. Tench, armed with a bucket and muddy water!

Thank you to Miss Bull, Mr Jaynes, Miss Moloney and Oscar for their support and dedication with the students at Camp Rumbug.

Topic

Students have thoroughly enjoyed using Inquisitive for this term’s topic, Staying Alive. Through technology, they explored each component of the topic, gaining insights into how animals adapt to survive in various environments. In the second half of the term, they shifted their focus to plants, examining the structural and behavioral adaptations that enable them to obtain energy, protect themselves, and reproduce.

Year 6

Wow! Our Year 6 students have been incredibly busy organising Harmony Day and preparing for the Stations of the Cross. As our 2025 leaders, they have done a remarkable job throughout Term 1!

Stations Of The Cross

Well done to our amazing Year 6 students for their dedication and hard work in putting together the Stations of the Cross. Over the past few weeks, they have been writing, preparing, and practicing their roles for this special event.
