Starlab Sleepover

The Grade 3 students in Cycle 2 enjoyed a wonderful night sleeping over at school.

Students were thrilled to enter the Starlab Dome where they travelled through the universe, visiting planets in our Solar System. They discovered how Earth was formed, how our planet came to be tilted and the Sun’s role on our changing seasons. Nick, our presenter was a fountain of knowledge and he enjoyed answering all the questions and wonderings of the students.

The presentation was followed by free time, a delicious supper of pizza, fruit and cookies. Then it was off to bed and the excitement of sleeping with friends amongst the Montessori shelves and tables kept many children buzzing with chatter. An early wakeup was followed with breakfast and home time.
