"Carey Gully CFS Cadet Brigade - first Monday of Term 2 (22nd July)  6 - 7.10pm

A couple of weeks ago four members from Carey Gully CFS presented a session to Years 4,5 and 6 at Uraidla PS inviting students (minimum age of 11years) to consider being part of reforming our Cadet Brigade.  A number of students took application forms but extra forms were left at the school office.  We do encourage students to attend with a friend but that is not essential.  There is no charge and uniforms will be supplied by the CFS.

Our first session will be the first Monday of Term 2 (22nd July) starting at 6pm, and then every four weeks. We encourage parents to come with their children on the first night for the introduction and a brief outline of the programme.

All volunteers have a national Police check, and a Working With Children Check.

The brigade is located on the intersection of Greenhill and Range Road, Carey Gully.

In appreciation

Leigh Newton - Cadet Coordinator, Carey Gully CFS (and a retired primary school teacher)
